Traveler's Championship "Birdies For Charity" Fund Raiser For The Marching Band Uniform Fund.  The band backers are proud to participate in a new fundraiser this year sponsored by the Travelers Championship.  100% of your pledge will go towards the new band helmets needed to suit up with the new uniforms purchased last year.  The goal is to raise enough funds to have all the helmets purchased before the 2009 competition season starts. 

How Does Birdies for Charity Work? A birdie is a score of one stroke better than par for any golf hole. PGA TOUR professionals are anticipated to make an average 1500-2000 birdies, Wednesday – Sunday of the Travelers Championship. Participating nonprofits simply solicit pledges based on the number of birdies made. Pledges can be as low as one penny! The more pledges we gather, the more funds we raise. If 1500 birdies are made: 1¢= $15; 10¢= $150; $1.00= $1500. Participating is easy! Pledges can be submitted on-line at: www.Travelerschampionship.com.  Don't forget to use our code (Bird Code 316)

Discounted Travelers Championship Tickets.   The band backers are proud to participate again this year in the Traveler's Championship "Chip In For Charity" Fundraiser.  Discounted tickets are being sold by the band backers, with a portion of the sales going towards the marching band uniform fund.  Please follow the link in the Upcoming Events section for further information.
