Congratulations to the SHS Marching Band graduating seniors, 2011/2012

 

Is the 2012/2013 season really upon us? - Mark your calendars.  The 2012/2013 marching band season kicks off in a little over one month with Mini-Band Camp, Saturday June 9.  See the link at the right for more information.

 

Also mark your calendars now.  Band Camp for the 2012/2013 season will be held Monday thru Friday the weeks of August 13 and 20th.  There will be morning and afternoon sessions on all days.  Stay tuned for more information.

Important: Revisions to the SHS Marching Band Backers Bylaws – Every three years, the SHS Marching Band Backers organization is required to review and revise its bylaws. This year’s revisions were presented by the Bylaws committee to the Executive Board at the May Executive Board meeting, at which time they were approved by the Executive Board. The bylaws must now be ratified by a 2/3 majority of those band backers members in attendance at a general meeting. The bylaws revisions must also be distributed to all band backers members at least 21 days prior to that meeting.

 

The bylaws will be presented for ratification by the Band Backers at the next general meeting, Wednesday June 6, 7:30pm in the High School library. The bylaws are available by selecting the following links:
