Each participating student will collect items to sell in their assigned
space in the SHS cafeteria. Items may be donated from your parents,
grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. |
 |
Each participating student will have their own set-up area. Tables,
chairs, and ample floor space is provided. Be creative in your table set-up to
attract customers. |
 |
Set-up time begins at 7:00 a.m. sharp. Please try to
pre-price your items before hand ... you can expect early-birds, and
this will save you time! |
 |
You
must arrive to your Tag Sale with enough “start up” cash. Parents please
ensure that your child has appropriate change for his/her sales. Example:
Start with $20.00 dollars in cash — Two five dollar bills, five one dollar
bills, three dollars in quarters, two dollars in dimes and nickels. |
 |
A $2.00 admission fee will be charged at the
door for buyers, and refreshments will be sold. This will help defray the cost
of the custodian we are required to have on hand. |
 |
Students... You are responsible for selling your own items and
monitoring your cash flow!!! Money belts are a great way to make
fast change while cash reserve is safe. Of course parents are welcome to
assist in this process. |
 |
All money you earn will be turned in at the end of the sale and
credited to your student point account. |
 |
All unsold items must go home with the seller. It
is the student's responsibility to remove all unsold merchandise from the
cafeteria. We are not
allowed to use school refuse containers. Unsold items can also be brought to
the Goodwill Donation Center on Queen St. in Southington (they will be open
until 9:00 PM). |
