Meal Plan

What is it?
The meal program was started in an effort to provide all Marching Band Members an opportunity to have a solid, well-balanced meal prior to each performance.

How does it work?
Prior to Competitions and Football Games Band Backer volunteers serve a hot meal to all participants in the Meal Plan Program. Meals are made available on competition days and  game nights. Dessert consists of baked goods supplied by the award-winning Band Backer Bakers.

Why Should I Sign Up?

Convenience – No planning meals or running back and forth to the school on Competition and Football Game days – everything is taken care of!
Cost – Because we buy in large quantities we get a substantial price break!
Safety & Nutrition – The kids that take advantage of The Meal Plan all stick around – together – they’re not rushing off to Queen Street to get junk food!

What Does it Cost?
The estimted cost for 2010 is $5.50 per meal per band member.  Twelve meals are provided at a total cost of $66.00 per student.

How Do I Sign Up?
Sign-up and pay for the meal plan at the marching band open house on Monday August 23.  Or, send payment to your Team Captain or one of the members of the meal plan committee (below).  Payment can be made in cash, by check (payable to SHS Band Backers) or with points.
